Summary of Term One

The start of the term wasn't that different form last year. We want over the uses of type like last year, nothing really new there. Next we started discussing creating a blog to show our work for this year and last year. I had created a simple blog and put some of my work up there, but something went wrong so I had to try and redo my blog over again. Thankfully I managed to get it working and am starting to get it up and running again. We also talked about the use of the about me page and LinkedIn. We also being doing stuff like, creating logos, billboards mobile phone covers and a design for the front of a shopping bag. It was tricky to come up with some good ideas for certain projects, but I managed to get it done and it starting to look good. Currently we are in the process of making our own website for the blog, which is to be done for the end of the year. Nothing yet so far with that, but I'm getting there. So after its been a good first half of the year and I hope it continues till the end.

Type 

A bottle made out of various words that describe  a bottle. Done using Adobe Photoshop. Traced from an existing image of a bottle using words

Type 2

An image of my face is done using text. The text used is my initials. Done in Adobe Illustrator. Made using tools like shape circle and pen tool and traced over with words.

Type 3

Another project using text. The idea I had was taking a quote from a TV series and use text to describe what the quote means. Done using Adobe Photoshop.

IPhone Cover

For this project I designed a cover for the iPhone. I used both Photoshop and Illustrator for this work.

Spar Bag

This was for a design for a reusable shopping bag for spar. I idea was a green idea for the bag. Done using both Illustrator and Photoshop, most of it was done in Illustrator.

Bagel Bite Logo

I created this as a logo design for a place called Bagel Bite. Done using Illustrator.  idea was to try and create an image of a place with fast service and good quality food.

PlayWell Logo

This logo was done for the name of a toy store called Play-Well. Done using Illustrator. Idea was create a colorful logo that would appeal to kids.

 Smironff Billboard

For this project it was to design a billboard advert for smironff. the theme behind was icons, celebririy icons.I used Photoshop for this assignment. It uses images, also effects from photoshop, like different blends,colour mode, overlay etc.
